Ive just actually peed myself........ sooooooooo funny!
Id love to sell Sparlock Tee shirts outside for a ridiculously small price, then when the dubbys go walkabout at lunchtime, they'd spot half the population wearing them
1. have an apostate food truck outside with free burritos and shasta cola.. 2. wear a smurf costume and run across the stage.. 3. bikini car wash across the street.. 4. have an old-school breakdancing session on the corner, cardboard and all.
bonus if you do it on a mat made of watchtowers and primary colored book covers.. 5. have a garage sale or flea market in the neighborhood during the afternoon session.. 6. sit in the audience and applaud everything that anybody says - try to get a standing ovation for each sentence of the closing prayer.. 7. put a recording of rap, heavy metal, or other forbidden music on instead of the kingdom melodies.. 8. get fifty of your friends to walk around in the stadium during the session, holding signs that say, "louder please!
" and "take your shirt off!

hello all at jwn!
i have been a lurker here the last few months and have been going through the process of researching both sides of the story of jehovahs witnesses.
i was raised in the borg, got married and now have a young child.. my wife is very much dedicated to the organization and will justify anything the "slave" does putting it off on the borgs imperfection.
Welcome, you are not alone...wishing you all you wish for yourself

seven years since i stumbled across this forum in my quest to finding out some serious answers about the organization i'd been a part of since childhood.
Hi Nellie, I feel very similar to you! Life is great and the freedom to make informed decisions is fantastic.....
The knee-jerk for me was loosing ALL the friends Id made over 6 years........so lonely! Then the lightbulb went on, they weren't my "friends" to begin with, and that realisation was an eye opener for me........I have real friends now who love me warts and all, and for the right reasons.
Life is sweet! I wish you all you wish for yourself, and welcome back to the forum
i have been in touch with a canadian reporter for a major newspaper.
she is interested in covering the candace conti story but needs to make it relevant to canadians.
so, she has asked if there is a canadian victim of child abuse who would be willing to speak with her.
Lets hope this flies......great news
did you change the way you dress after leaving the wt?.
Wow! Kudra, really? Thats a club Id love to join! I dont want to grow old disgracefully, but I want to be an individual, and a little bit eccentric if I possibly can...(Im British so I can get away with a lot hahah ) . plus, I like purple and red x

That poem was just mindblowing to me! I hope I behave like that when Im older! (Chariklo, thanks x)
I didnt have any big changes in my wardrobe, the point for me was I was able to choose for myself what I wanted to wear. Oh, and I stopped having to wear plasters over my ankle tattoos.
And went to a few Ann Summers parties......thats a whole other thread x
Im sorry for the way I treated my fellow humans who happened to be gay..........Im ashamed, but will never be that person again. Thanks for the great pics folks......made me smile on a sad and lonely day
